South China Coastal Waters

Warnings:
Strong winds in Hong Kong adjacent waters, Nan'ao and
Shanwei.

Weather Situation:
An easterly airstream is affecting the coastal waters of
Guangdong. Meanwhile, a trough of low pressure is bringing
unsettled weather to the south China coastal waters.

Area forecasts for the next 24 hours

Hong Kong Adjacent Waters:
East force 4 to 5, occasionally force 6, becoming southeast
up to force 6 later.
Occasional heavy showers and squally thunderstorms.
Moderate to rough seas.

Nan'ao and Shanwei:
East force 4 to 5, occasionally force 6.
Occasional heavy showers and squally thunderstorms.
Moderate to rough seas.

South of Hong Kong and Shangchuan Dao:
South to southeast force 4 to 5.
Occasional heavy showers and squally thunderstorms.
Moderate seas.

Outlook for the following 48 hours 
South to southeasterly winds of force 4 to 5, easterly winds
of up to force 6 in east at first. Occasional heavy showers
and squally thunderstorms.
