The Observatory launches the Community Weather Observation Scheme (CWOS) Photo Gallery

The Observatory launches a new weather photo gallery on its website today (21 November 2022) to display selected nice photos contributed by photography enthusiasts in the Community Weather Observing Scheme (CWOS) Facebook public group in recent years. The photos are classified into five categories, namely, Symphony of Clouds, Atmospheric Optics, Celestial Wonders, Lightning Flashes and Other Weather Phenomena. The gallery also provides information on relevant knowledge and links to promote public education on meteorology and arouse people’s interest in weather observation and appreciation. Photos will be updated from time to time. Please visit and enjoy the gallery.
