Enhanced Marine Meteorological Information and Aviation Sports Weather Information Services on MyObservatory

The Hong Kong Observatory (HKO) launched a new version of the “MyObservatory” app (Android version 5.2.0, iOS version 7.1, Huawei version 5.2.0) to include “Meteorological Information for Fishermen”, which is an interactive map with automatic sea-state forecast products. It enables the fishing sector, shipping communities and people engaging in marine activities over the northern part of the South China Sea to easily appreciate the changes in weather and related conditions over the sea.

In addition, the new version of MyObservatory also includes a link to “Weather Information for Aviation Sports”, which provides information such as weather forecast for local aviation, tephigram, etc., for users to examine weather conditions while performing aviation sports.

The "MyObservatory" is a free app. Users are welcome to download at the following links (iOS, Android, Huawei).
