New "AAMC-WRF" Mesoscale Forecast Model Products on "Earth Weather"

The Observatory today (17 November 2025) enhanced the contents of the “Earth Weather” webpage with the addition of products from the “Asian Aviation Meteorological Centre WRF” (AAMC-WRF) mesoscale forecast model, including 5 days forecasts of surface wind direction, wind speed, temperature, mean sea level pressure, rainfall, as well as upper-air temperature, relative humidity, and geopotential height. Through the “Earth Weather” webpage, forecast products are displayed using more advanced graphic rendering and data processing technologies.

The address of the “Earth Weather” is https://maps.weather.gov.hk/wxviewer/index.html?lang=en. The new feature will also be added on the “MyObservatory” app in upcoming updates.
