A New Look for "Regional Weather" Webpage

23 December 2025

The Hong Kong Observatory today (23th December) launched the "Hong Kong Regional Weather Information Platform" webpage, giving the "Regional Weather" webpage a fresh new look.

In addition to providing traditional "Regional Weather" information, the new webpage also incorporates information from the "Automatic Regional Weather Forecast in Hong Kong and Pearl River Delta Region" webpage. Through navigation using a timeline (Figure 1) or selecting specific stations (Figure 2), members of the public can view weather data for the past, present and future in Hong Kong. The webpage can also display weather photos, rainfall maps, and nowcasting information for rainfall and lightning over different regions, facilitating the public to assess weather changes in the next couple of hours.

The "Hong Kong Regional Weather Information Platform" webpage is now available in the Observatory’s main website. Please come and visit!
