Transit of Venus on 6 June 2012

The above photos were taken by the Observatory's staff with a telescope of 50 mm in diameter and 330 mm in focal length together with a Charge-Coupled Device (CCD) at Cape D'Aguilar during the transit of Venus on 6 June 2012.  At the time, Venus came between the Sun and the Earth.  Its silhouette, appearing as a dark dot, moved across the Sun's disc.
