2015 IACE Visiting the Observatory

Over 45 members of the International Air Cadet Exchange Association (IACE), accompanied by members of the Hong Kong Air Cadet Corps (HKACC) visited the Hong Kong Observatory on 23 July 2015. During the visit, the participants learnt about how meteorological observations were used and weather forecasts made, as well as attended lecture on aviation meteorology delivered by Observatory staff.

Despite it was a rainy day, the delegates spent an educational and enjoyable morning in the Observatory learning about aviation meteorology and the Observatory's aviation weather services. The Observatory is glad to see more youngsters interested in aeronautical meteorology. We would continue to promote meteorological knowledge through outreach and partnership.
