    Impacts of Super Typhoon Mangkhut
    (3 May 2019)

    The Hong Kong Observatory organized the Research Forum "Impacts of Super Typhoon Mangkhut" on 3 May 2019. Speakers from government departments, public utility companies and local universities were invited to share their observations and experience during the passage of Mangkhut and the latest research results on typhoon impacts. The forum provided a platform for participants to discuss research needs to cope with similar challenges in the future and to foster collaboration among stakeholders in different sectors for the betterment of the society.
