Observatory launches "Weather Information for the Marine Community" website (Beta Version)

To enhance weather services for the marine community, the Observatory has launched the "Weather Information for the Marine Community" website (http://www.hko.gov.hk/wservice/tsheet/pms/mariners_e.htm) for operational trial.

The website centralizes information and weather forecasts which are of interest to the marine community including real time weather observations, marine and tropical cyclone forecasts, information on port meteorological services, the Observatory's quarterly e-Bulletin for the Marine Community and other useful links such as with the World Meteorological Organization, International Maritime Organization and Pacific Tsunami Warning Centre. Members of the marine community and the general public are welcome to visit the website.
