The Observatory enhances its "Met on Map" service

The Hong Kong Observatory enhanced its “Met on Map” web portal today (28 December 2016). Apart from various weather and geophysical information being provided on the website, the latest additions include global relative humidity and visibility reports, lightning location information over the Pearl River Delta region and local rainfall distribution maps. The opportunity has also been taken to make available the forecast weather icons for the coming 9 days and daily chance of rainfall at various locations in Hong Kong in the “Weather Forecast” column of the portal.
