Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong
Observatory.

Winds are weak over Guangdong. Meanwhile, showers and
thunderstorms triggered by high temperatures are affecting
the region.

Severe Tropical Storm Co-May has weakened into a tropical
storm. At 6 p.m., Co-May was centred about 840 kilometres
southwest of Okinawa. It is forecast to move northeast at
about 40 kilometres per hour across the seas east of Taiwan.

Meanwhile, Tropical Depression Francisco was centred about
220 kilometres southeast of Wenzhou. It is forecast to move
west at about 10 kilometres per hour across the East China
Sea.

Weather forecast for tonight and tomorrow

Mainly cloudy with occasional showers. Showers will be heavy
at times with severe squally thunderstorms at first. The
minimum temperature will be about 27 degrees morning. Very
hot with sunny periods during the day tomorrow. The maximum
temperature will be around 33 degrees in the urban areas,
and a couple of degrees higher in the New Territories. Light
to moderate west to southwesterly winds.

Outlook : Very hot with sunny periods and isolated showers
on Sunday. More showers in the following couple of days.
