Local Weather Forecast

Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong
Observatory.

Under the influence of an intense northeast monsoon and a
broad band of rain and clouds, the local weather was cloudy
and slightly cooler with a few rain patches today. The
minimum temperature recorded at the Observatory was 18.2
degrees, the lowest so far this autumn. The intense
northeast monsoon will continue to affect Guangdong
tomorrow, it will remain slightly cooler over the region in
the morning. With the monsoon moderating gradually in the
following couple of days, the weather will improve over
southern China. It will be dry with temperatures rising
during the day.

Besides, Severe Tropical Storm Fengshen weakened into a
tropical storm today. At 11 p.m., Fengshen was centred about
140 kilometres northeast of Da Nang. It is forecast to move
southwest at about 10 kilometres per hour towards the
central part of Vietnam and continue to weaken. On the other
hand, the area of low pressure over the seas east of Taiwan
brought unsettled weather to the region today.

Weather forecast for Hong Kong (Thursday, 23 Oct 2025)

Mainly cloudy. One or two rain patches at first. Slightly
cooler in the morning. The minimum temperature will be about
18 degrees in the urban areas, and a couple of degrees lower
in the New Territories. The maximum temperature will be
around 22 degrees during the day. Moderate to fresh
northerly winds, strong offshore.

Outlook : Sunny periods in the following couple of days, dry
with temperatures rising during the day.
