Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong
Observatory.

A replenishment of the northeast monsoon reached the coast
of Guangdong this morning. Locally, the weather was mainly
cloudy. There were one or two rain patches at first. It was
dry with sunny periods during the day. The dry northeast
monsoon will continue to affect the coast of Guangdong in
the next few days. It will be generally fine and dry with
slightly cooler mornings over the region.

Besides, Severe Tropical Storm Yinxing intensified into a
typhoon today. At 11 p.m., Yinxing was centred about 590
kilometres northeast of Manila. It is forecast to move
west-northwest at about 12 kilometres per hour towards the
vicinity of Luzon Strait and intensify gradually.

Weather forecast for Hong Kong (Wednesday, 6 Nov 2024)

Mainly cloudy with one or two light rain patches at first.
Becoming fine and dry during the day. Temperatures will
range between 23 and 28 degrees. Moderate to fresh east to
northeasterly winds, occasionally strong offshore later.

Outlook : Fine and dry with slightly cooler mornings in the
following couple of days. The minimum temperature will be
around 21 degrees in the urban areas, and a couple of
degrees lower in the New Territories.
