Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory. Under the combined effect of a strong northeast monsoon and the tropical depression over the central part of the South China Sea, it is windy with showers over the coast of Guangdong and the northern part of the South China Sea. At noon, the tropical depression was centred about 140 kilometres north-northwest of Da Nang. It is forecast to move west-northwest at about 12 kilometres per hour towards the coast of Vietnam. Weather forecast for this afternoon and tonight Mainly cloudy with a few showers. Sunny intervals in the afternoon. Fresh easterly winds, strong offshore and on high ground at first, seas will be rough with swells. Outlook : Sunny intervals tomorrow. A few showers in the morning and at night. Mainly fine in the following couple of days.
