Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory. A southerly airstream is affecting the coast of Guangdong. Meanwhile, an anticyclone aloft is bringing generally fine weather to the region and the northern part of the South China Sea. At 5 a.m., Tropical Depression Hagupit was centred about 870 kilometres east of Manila. It is forecast to be slow-moving, lingering over the seas east of the Philippines. Weather forecast for today Sunny periods. Hot during the day with a maximum temperature of around 32 degrees. A few showers later. Light to moderate south to southwesterly winds. Outlook : Showers and squally thunderstorms tomorrow and on Friday. Showers will be heavy at times. Weather will remain unsettled and windy during the weekend.
