Weather Situation: A trough of low pressure is bringing unsettled weather to the south China coastal waters. Meanwhile, severe squally thunderstorms is affecting the the vicinity of the Pearl River Estuary. Area forecasts for the next 24 hours Hong Kong Adjacent Waters: South force 4 to 5, gusts occasionally up to force 11 at first. Heavy showers and severe squally thunderstorms. Moderate to rough seas. Nan'ao, Shanwei and Shangchuan Dao: South to southwest force 4 to 5. Occasional heavy showers and squally thunderstorms. Moderate seas.
