Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory. A southerly airstream is bringing showers to the coast of Guangdong. At 2 a.m., Tropical Depression Narra was centred about 70 kilometres west of Haikou. It is forecast to move northeast at about 14 kilometres per hour, skirting the coast of northwestern Hainan Island, then moving towards Leizhou Peninsula. Meanwhile, Severe Typhoon Saudel was centred about 150 kilometres north-northeast of Okinawa. It is forecast to move west-northwest at about 18 kilometres per hour across the vicinity of the Ryukyu Islands, entering the East China Sea. Weather forecast for today Cloudy with occasional showers and squally thunderstorms. Showers will be heavier in some areas. Temperatures will range between 27 and 31 degrees. Moderate to fresh southerly winds, occasionally strong offshore and on high ground. Outlook : Showers will be heavier in some areas on Thursday. One or two showers on Friday, very hot during the day. Still a few showers over the weekend.
