Warnings:
Hurricane force winds in Hong Kong adjacent waters, south of
Hong Kong and Shangchuan Dao. Storm force winds in Shanwei.
Gale force winds in Nan'ao.
Weather Situation:
At 10 a.m., Super Typhoon Ragasa with maximum sustained
winds of about 195 kilometres per hour near its centre was
located at 21.3 degrees north, 113.4 degrees east. It is
forecast to move west or west-northwest at about 22
kilometres per hour edging closer to the vicinity of the
coast of western Guangdong.

Hong Kong Adjacent Waters:
East force 11 to 12, becoming southeast force 12.
Frequent heavy squally showers and thunderstorms.
Very high to phenomenal seas.
Nan'ao:
Southeast force 6 to 7, force 8 at first.
Frequent heavy squally showers and thunderstorms.
Rough seas, very rough at first.
Shanwei:
Southeast force 7 to 8, force 11 at first.
Frequent heavy squally showers and thunderstorms.
Rough to very rough seas, very high at first.
South of Hong Kong:
Cyclonic force 12, becoming south force 12.

Shangchuan Dao:
North to northwest force 11 to 12, becoming cyclonic force
