Warnings:
Strong winds in Hong Kong adjacent waters, south of Hong
Kong and Shangchuan Dao.
Weather Situation:
A southerly airstream is affecting the coastal waters of
Guangdong.
At 11 p.m., Tropical Depression Narra with maximum sustained
winds of about 55 kilometres per hour near its centre was
located at 19.7 degrees north, 109.3 degrees east. It is
forecast to move northeast at about 14 kilometres per hour,
skirting the coast of northwestern Hainan Island, then
moving towards Leizhou Peninsula. Meanwhile, Severe Typhoon
Saudel with maximum sustained winds of about 155 kilometres
per hour near its centre was located at 27.3 degrees north,
128.5 degrees east. It is forecast to move west-northwest at
about 18 kilometres per hour across the vicinity of the
Ryukyu Islands, entering the East China Sea.
