The Observatory has added real-time weather photos taken at Tai Mo Shan to the “Latest Weather Photo” webpage and the “MyObservatory” mobile app. Installed on Hong Kong’s highest peak Tai Mo Shan, the new weather camera enjoys a wide field of view, enabling it to take photos that will help members of the public better understand the latest weather conditions at Tai Mo Shan and nearby areas. The camera can even capture images of “seas” of clouds and other interesting cloud types.
