To further enhance the services associated with very hot weather, since mid-July this year, when there are persistent high temperatures, the Observatory not only issues Very Hot Weather Warnings, but also pushes “Prolonged Heat Alert” special weather tips through the “MyObservatory” mobile app, to alert the public to take appropriate precautionary measures to safeguard against the ongoing impact of very hot weather and hot nights.
