Annual Weather Outlook for 2021
The Observatory announced the annual weather outlook for 2021. It is expected that there will be five to eight tropical cyclones coming within 500 kilometres of Hong Kong during the year and predicted that the tropical cyclone season for Hong Kong may start in June or earlier. (More……)
1991-2020 Climatological Normals for Hong Kong
The Observatory compiled a new set of 30-year climatological normals for Hong Kong, based on the meteorological data measured in the period from 1991 to 2020. Comparing old and new climatological normals, we can see the footprints of global warming and local urbanisation. (More……)
