    The Observatory Launches Gamma-Go Workshop

    Lam Ching-chi

The Observatory organised the first Gamma-Go Workshop in March 2021. The workshop is one of the STEM activities of the Observatory’s Pilot School Community Ambient Radiation Measurement Programme, and aims to teach students the basics of radiation through lectures and practical sessions. Contents include how to assemble the portable instruments on the Arduino platform to make real-time, on-site measurements of gamma radiation and other meteorological elements, and analyse the data collected on the dedicated web-based platform. Interested schools are welcome to join!
