Observatory expands scope of ISO/IEC 20000-1:2018 certification

The Observatory’s Information Technology (IT) service management system successfully completed the surveillance audit for expanding the scope of the International Organisation for Standardization/International Electrotechnical Commission (ISO/IEC) 20000-1:2018, which was conducted by the certification body in March 2024, affirming the Observatory’s dedication to high-quality IT service management. The scope of certification has expanded from the initial work on network management and support and helpdesk services, to also cover services including connectivity gateways, databases, centralised server farms and server room management.
