Launching Update Version of the “MyObservatory”

The Observatory updated the “MyObservatory” app in May 2024, to enhance dissemination of information. When the Observatory issues a “Special Weather Tip” (SWT) about the possible issuance of Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 9, the tip will be delivered through a push notification from “MyObservatory”. Moreover, when Tropical Cyclone Warning Signals No. 9 or 10 are issued, the notifications shown on “MyObservatory” will also include visual elements to make the messages more eye-catching and allow clearer viewing of the related information.

A new feature enabling more eye-catching notifications of messages related to Tropical Cyclone Warning Signals No. 9 and 10 has been added to “MyObservatory”.
