Aeronautical Meteorological Adviser of Hong Kong Observatory Visited Meteorological and Aviation Authorities in Korea

Mr LEE Kwok-lun, an Aeronautical Meteorological Adviser of the Hong Kong Observatory (HKO) stationed at the Integrated Airport Centre of the Hong Kong International Airport, visited the Korea Meteorological Administration (KMA) and the Air Traffic Command Centre (ATCC) in Korea from 11 to 13 February 2025.
During the visit, Mr LEE met with the experts of the Aviation Meteorological Office of KMA in Incheon, exchanged views on the latest developments in aviation weather technology and services, and discussed the future cooperation opportunities between HKO and KMA. Mr LEE also visited the ATCC in Daegu to understand the work of KMA’s Aviation Meteorological Analyst at the centre, with a particular focus on the implementation of collaborative decision making among the aviation stakeholders in Korea.
