The Observatory Provided Meteorological Training for the 'Dragonair Aviation Certificate Programme'

The Observatory delivered a one-and-a-half-day meteorological training course in the latter half of November 2008 for the 'Dragonair Aviation Certificate Programme' to provide participants basic training on weather observation and aviation weather forecasting. Each of the trainees was arranged to practise side-by-side with our staff at different posts in the Airport Meteorological Office to experience the close collaboration between meteorological personnel and the aviation community.
