Adapting to climate change – be prepared |
Global temperature rise by the end of the 21st century is likely to be around 3ºC (relative to pre-industrial levels) even with full implementation of COP21 countries' pledges. While we should make every effort to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, we also need to be prepared for the impacts of a warmer world, such as more extreme heat, more extreme rainfall and higher sea level. |
Integrating thermal load and wind information
in urban planning
Building infrastructure to reduce urban flood risk during heavy rain events
Constructing check dam to prevent debris flow
Strengthening coastal protection
