Observatory Colleague Elected as Vice-Chair of Asia/Pacific Meteorological Information Exchange Working Group of International Civil Aviation Organization

At the 21st Meeting of the Meteorological Information Exchange Working Group (MET/IE WG) of the Asia and Pacific (APAC) region of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), Marco Kok Mang-hin, Acting Senior Scientific Officer of the Observatory, was elected as the new Vice-Chairperson of the MET/IE WG. This is the first time that a colleague of the Observatory has held the Chairmanship / Vice-Chairmanship of the working group, and serves as recognition of the contributions of Hong Kong, China, to the development of meteorological information exchanges in the region.
