Hong Kong Observatory signs Letter of Intent on Cooperation with China Institute of Atomic Energy

The Hong Kong Observatory (HKO) recently signed a Letter of Intent on Cooperation with the China Institute of Atomic Energy (CIAE) to enhance technical exchange and collaboration between the two organizations.CIAE is a multi-disciplinary and comprehensive research foundation in the Mainland specialized in nuclear science and technology.It is also regarded as the cradle of nuclear science and technology in China. HKO and CIAE will collaborate closely in various areas, including information exchange, scientific research, equipment calibration, training and related technical activities. This will further foster joint development in environmental radiation monitoring, radiation protection as well as nuclear accident consequence assessment.
