Hong Kong Observatory signs Letter of Intent on Cooperation with Shanghai Radiation Environmental Supervision Station

The Hong Kong Observatory and the Shanghai Radiation Environmental Supervision Station signed a Letter of Intent on Cooperation in Shanghai on 28 November 2014 to enhance technical exchange and collaboration between the two organizations.
The Observatory and the Shanghai Radiation Environmental Supervision Station have similar scope of work, objectives and tasks in environmental radiation monitoring.The two organizations will collaborate closely in various areas of environmental radiation monitoring, including exchange of information and technology, inter-comparison of instruments, training and research activities with the aim of enhancing the technical and service levels of both parties.
