    Launch of New Version 1.1 of "MyObservatory" for Android

    The Hong Kong Observatory launched a new Android version of "MyObservatory" on 17 May 2011 to enhance its weather services for mobile users.

    In addition to the weather services currently provided, the new version 1.1 features the following new weather information:
    • Rainfall distribution map
    • Radar map overlaid with lightning location information
    • Observatory's blog
    • Links to HKO's Twitter and Weibo accounts
