1. The lightning information displayed above is provisional. Only limited data validation has been carried out.
2. Cloud-to-ground lightning strokes might affect people or facilities on the ground. As cloud-to-cloud lightning strokes did not reach the ground, they might not have such effect. However, it should be noted that cloud-to-cloud strokes may sometimes precede cloud-to-ground strokes.
