The United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) released the Working Group I contribution to the Sixth Assessment Report “Climate Change 2021: The Physical Science Basis” in August 2021. This employs a new set of scenarios, taking into consideration different trends in greenhouse gas concentrations, to generate climate projections.
