Gridded weather forecasts and visibility observations now available on the “Weather Website for Greater Bay Area”

In March, the Observatory enhanced the “This link will open in a new windowWeather Website for GBA” with the addition of more than 600 grid boxes across the GBA, to provide 3-hourly or 6-hourly forecasts of weather including temperature, relative humidity, wind direction and wind speed for the next few days. The newly added forecast information is provided by Guangdong Meteorological Service, the Hong Kong Observatory, and Macao Meteorological and Geophysical Bureau. Real-time weather observation information on the website has also been enhanced with the provision of visibility observations over the GBA.
