Young Students experience the “Job Shadowing Day” at the Observatory

Ten secondary students participated in the “Job Shadowing Program” organised by Junior Achievement Hong Kong (JAHK), and underwent job shadowing at the Observatory on 29 November 2023. Under the guidance of the Observatory’s mentors, the students had real-life experience of working at different posts and completing assigned tasks. All students highly cherished this opportunity to have an up-close encounter with the Observatory’s operations. They also enjoyed communicating with their mentors and learning more about meteorology.
