Sea current forecasts now available on “Earth Weather” and “Meteorological Information for Fishermen” webpages
The “Earth Weather” and “Meteorological Information for Fishermen” webpages as well as the “MyObservatory” mobile app have been enhanced with the addition of sea current forecasts for the next 96 hours, to help people better appreciate the changes in sea currents over the region. (More……)

Better location for the Chek Lap Kok reference anemometer
In March, the Chek Lap Kok anemometer utilised for the Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal System was relocated to the middle of the new North Runway, which is in a more favourable environment and enables more representative wind measurements than the original location. (More……)
